Research Assistant
We are seeking a **_Research Assistant_** in the Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine to assist with Neuro-Oncology research. **Specific Duties & Responsibilities** + Responsible for data collection, data management, data analysis and statistical modeling for neuro-oncology and spine tumor research. + Will work closely with the principal investigator on research activities including a radio genomics clinical trial. + Very strong organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. + Adhere to strict confidentiality requirements. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. + Make independent judgments about data being analyzed and to act on decisions on a daily basis. + Prioritize personal workflow and the work of other staff as needed. + Work with flexibility on several tasks simultaneously and to meet various concurrent deadlines. + Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of University and Hospital employees as well as outside contacts. + Potential opportunity to be first author of manuscript(s) as appropriate. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in related discipline. + Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with biostatistics is highly valued. + Minimum 2-year commitment. + Interest and/or experience with neurosciences or oncology.
