Glimpse of the Job
We are looking for a detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our psychological research laboratory, where you will oversee daily activities, ensure precise data organization and entry using SPSS, screen and recruit participants, and maintain clear and consistent communication throughout the entire research process, from initial recruitment to follow-up sessions. Our research focuses on the innovative use of virtual reality walking therapy for neuropathic pain in individuals with spinal cord injuries. Opportunities to Contribute
+ Participates in recruitment by scheduling, calling, and contacting both past and potential participants
+ Performs behavioral and neuroimaging data collection with hands-on work to collect project data
+ Organizing collected data into spreadsheets and databases, completing initial preprocessing and data analysis.
+ Responsible for training and managing undergraduates working in the lab for course credit on this project.
Qualifications
+ B.A./B.S in Psychology or related field
Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.
Special Note: All or a portion of the salary for this position may be funded from grants and/or contracts. The continuing salary and overall employment is contingent upon availability of these funds in the future.
