The Research Assistant will provide support to the Principal Investigator with the biomedical science research in the Department of Physiological Science.

Responsibilities Order and organize supplies, contribute to the overall lab administrationPrepare reagents and solutions for general use, routine lab workMaintain mouse colonies and genotypingInstrument maintenancePerform cell culture workAssist with cell culture experiments, western blot analysis, and qPCRCollection and analysis of dataPerform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s in biological science or related. Prior research experience in mice colony maintenance, genotyping, and cell culture work is highly preferred.  Prior experience in biochemistry and immunology experiments is beneficial.
