Yes Duties and Responsibilities Carry out research experiments with appropriate controls under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI). Experimental techniques will include cell culture, cell transfection, live cell microscopy, western-blot, immunohistochemistry, and functional assays Evaluate and interpret experimental results. Manage lab organization, including supply orders, reagent preparation, equipment monitoring, and adherence to safety protocols. Provide training on research methods and lab procedures to students and staff. Communicate effectively with the PI and apply creative problem-solving skills. Attend weekly seminars and lab meetings. Perform other related tasks as needed.


Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Education Required: Bachelors Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education Preferred: Bachelors Degree Experience Required: None Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: Bachelors Degree Preferred: Masters Degree Specify Degree(s): Biological or physical sciences Minimum Experience: Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience.
The hire would have preferentially a Master’s degree, or minimally a Bachelor’s degree, in Biological or Chemical Sciences. We would prefer someone with 3-5 years of previous research experience but would also consider someone with 1-2 years experience.The qualified applicant will have the ability to: Analyze and interpret data while meeting deadlines. Follow both written and verbal instructions, adhering to established protocols. Maintain precision and consistency, demonstrating ethical conduct. Collaborate effectively as part of a team, remaining calm and professional in interactions, with strong verbal communication skills.
