TNS Research AssistantStudents will support ongoing research projects and substantive academic tasks associated with course work and/or faculty research.

RESPONSIBILITIES:This student would help me in two initiatives: First, in my professional practice which consists of conceptualizing, researching, and preparing journalistic articles about the media business. This research assistant will be expected to closely monitor the news, be a diligent and dependable researcher and collaborator, and have strong writing skills. Second, during a period when I don’t have an article that needs work, I would want my research assistant to help prepare articles and related content for the Media Management program’s LinkedIn page. The student should be able to quickly find and synthesize information. and communicate it clearly to a lay audience — essential skills in digital publishing.
Hourly Rate: $30.16/hr
Work mode: Hybrid on-line and on-campus Minimum Qualifications: Must be flexible, responsible and willing and open to being involved with a “multi-tasker”. Skills needed include: excellent research, organizational and communication skills, being a keen “people person”, able to take direction as well as work independently as a self-starter. Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and some Graphic design skills required.
