Connell School of Nursing invites applications for a resourceful and well-organized Project Associate to work on "The Birthworker Equity in Education (BEE) Collaborative", funded by MA Dept of Public Health. The Project Associate will be involved in supporting all aspects of implementation of this project, including recruiting participants, organizing and supporting events, and collecting data. For the BEE Collaborative, the Program Associate will play a vital role in supporting the PI and the Project Director. The Research Associate will: * Manage program activities workplan and reporting * Assist with the development and/or refinement of program activities such as recruitment of participants, meeting agendas and listservs, and retreat planning * Prepare electronic data collection forms. Update forms as needed, deploy new versions on the server and document version changes * Travel locally in the Boston area to meet with program participants and for recruitment * Attend staff meetings, provide updates on status of the project, and communicate regularly with the Program Director and PI * Supervise student research assistants * Oversee incoming communications and ensure timely responses * Perform daily/weekly database maintenance and reporting * Track participants in program activities and ensure data is accurate * Assist with developing meeting agendas, workplan timelines * Lead logistics planning for external meetings, retreats, trainings and other events * Lead report writing for DPH-required biannual reports * Analyze project data with support from Project Director * Represent the program team at external meetings * Assist with other program management and dissemination tasks as needed Requirements: - Master's degree in public health, nursing, midwifery or a related field - 2-3 years experience Preferred qualifications - Prior experience in project management - Demonstrated ability to implement collaborative programs - Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in English - Demonstrated experience with racial justice programming or lived experience - Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills - Strong commitment to health equity and motivation for independent learning - Ability to conduct literature searches and produce reviews Required application documents: cover letter, CV.
