Job Description Summary:
Research associate (RA) will be in charge of assisting in the planning and logistics of drone flights. Provide support in preparing field work equipment and logistics for field data collection. Support spatial analysis to graduate and undergraduate students as needed.
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in relevant field
+ 2 years of field and/or laboratory experience
Preferred Education:
+ M.S. in Rangeland, Wildlife, and Fisheries Management
Preferred special knowledge, skills and abilities:
+ Fieldwork data collection
+ Geographic information systems
+ Spatial analysis coding
+ Ability to perform statistical analyses
+ R programing
Job Responsibilities
+ Spatial data analysis, Spatial data storage and management
+ Fieldwork equipment preparation
+ Logistics and fieldwork
+ Support to graduate students in fieldwork preparation
+ Field data collection
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
