Recruitment/Posting Title Research Associate Department School of Engn, Dean's Office Salary Commensurate With Experience Posting Summary Nanofabrication CORE Facility (NCF) the School of Engineering, Rutgers is a 6,750 square feet class 1000 cleanroom, supporting cutting-edge researches within and outside of Rutgers. The fabrication facility houses advanced metrology tools (e.g., UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer, Class AAA solar simulator, multi-wavelength Ellipsometer, TLM contact resistivity measurement, CV measurement, PL, EL, PCD, Sun-Voc, Four-Point-Probe, SEM, EDS, Optical Microscopes, Dektak Profilometer, etc.) photolithography, dedicated wet chemical processing stations including Ozone system, and state-of-the-art processing tools (e.g., ALD, PECVD, RIE, Ebeam, Sputter, Etcher, Thermal furnaces (Boron, Phosphorus, Oxidation, FGA, etc.), RTA, Box Furnaces, Semiautomated Screen Printer, Humidity Chamber, etc.). NCF seeks a talented and enthusiastic Research Assistant (RA) with demonstrated experiences in micro-nanofabrications, user training, lab demonstration, knowledge of scientific equipment and instruments, and milestone-driven projects. RA will report to the director of NCF; supports daily operations of NCF; and work closely with faculty, staff, students, university personnel and external vendors to maintain the laboratories, equipment and supplies.
