Job SummaryThe Research Associate will play a pivotal role in advancing research initiatives, fostering scientific collaboration, and mentoring lab personnel. This position emphasizes strategic planning, research development, and scholarly contributions, ensuring the success of ongoing and future research projects. The Research Associate will work closely with faculty, graduate students, and research staff, providing support in experimental design, manuscript preparation, and grant writing.

Responsibilities*30% Strategic Research Support & Scientific Development
Assist in the design, execution, and optimization of research projects, ensuring methodological rigor and scientific integrity.Provide expertise in wet lab techniques, including biochemistry and molecular biology methods such as hair sample processing, cortisol analysis and microscopy.Collaborate with faculty and researchers to develop high-impact manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals based on completed research.Contribute to the development and writing of grant proposals, including literature reviews, and methodology sections.35% Mentorship & Research Training

Additional InformationThe salary range for this position is $24,500 to $28,500 (full-time salary equivalent is $49,000 to $57,000). Please note a higher salary may be offered based on equity and the selected candidates experience.
This position is term-limited for 2 years with the possibility of an extension.
