Required Education & Experience + Appropriate Bachelor's degree + Two years of relevant professional experience + Familiarity with appropriate laboratory and/or technical equipment Responsibilities + Research: Design protocol for Lab procedure projects including, but not limited to, cell isolation using techniques such as cell culture, Western blot, DNA and RNA purification, PCR, ELISA, immunocytochemistry/histochemistry and flow cytometry. Prepares reagents. Oversee undergraduate and/or graduate students and other laboratory, technical or field staff involved in research. + Lab Duties: General laboratory duties such as research equipment maintenance and operation and maintaining a safe working environment. Uses computers and laboratory or technical equipment to perform data analysis. Participate in general lab organization and maintenance. Ordering supplies and managing inventory and performing other duties as assigned. + Animal Research: Maintenance of animal care.
