The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
Responsibilities may include using advanced neuroimaging methods to understand mechanisms of psychiatric symptoms related to puberty, pregnancy, the post-partum period, and menopause. Learning to lead an independent research team while also participating in a multi-disciplinary team of neuroscientists, engineers, and clinician-scientists.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to build a highly successful research group focused on reproductive psychiatry across the lifespan under the direction of senior faculty.
