The Department of Cancer Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of molecular biology, genetics and biochemistry. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree. Responsibilities may include determining the role of CRLs in diffuse large B-cell Lymphoma. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to further develop critical thinking skills and expertise in the area of genome editing and targeted protein degradation. They will also familiarize with related literature and experimental techniques, help prepare manuscripts, mentor junior scientists, and partake in career development training programs offered by the University.
