Job Duties:
To provide coordination of all phases and activities associated with current clinical research projects in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences related to the Texas Mental Health Care Consortium Initiatives. The TCMHCC research initiative seeks to improve the delivery of child and adolescent mental health services in Texas through two research networks, each focused on a specific topic area pertinent to advancing the delivery of child and adolescent mental health services. The two networks are the Youth Depression and Suicide Research Network (YDSRN) and the Childhood Trauma Research Network (CTRN). The goals of the research networks are: 1) to better understand and improve mental health services to address youth trauma, depression and suicide, and 2) to identify regional and statewide service delivery gaps to inform policy makers and to improve the mental health of children and youth in Texas.

Collaborates with the Project Coordinator to provide additional support in building relationships through presentations, outreach visits, technical assistance, and other duties, as required Ensures adequate delivery of recruitment information and materials to relevant sources Interstate travel required (Valid Driver’s License may be Required, Mileage Reimbursement Provided) Employee is expected to attend and conduct trainings at various locations on and off-site, attend meetings to discuss success and obstacles of different projects, and pass additional background screening, including FBI fingerprinting, for our school and community partnerships. This position is a hybrid position that will be assigned both on-campus and remote work with an expectation to work on-site for some of the scheduled work week. This position requires that you work and live in Southeast Texas Coastal Region. Remote work will require reliable internet access and a suitable, private workspace free from distractions.Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
