Research Associate II - Molecular and Cellular Biology

Join the forefront of groundbreaking research at the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope, where we're changing lives and making a real difference in the fight against cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening illnesses. Our dedicated and compassionate faculty and staff are driven by a common mission: Contribute to innovative approaches in predicting, preventing, and curing diseases, shaping the future of medicine through cutting-edge research.

The Department of Translational Research and Cellular Therapeutics is at the forefront of human islet biology and diabetes research, covering a broad spectrum of research from developmental mechanisms that impact diabetes risk to identifying novel therapeutics targets to promote the regeneration and function of pancreatic beta cells. The main research focus of the Dhawan Lab is to understand the epigenetic mechanisms of the differentiation, growth, and maintenance of beta cells to identify novel therapeutic targets for the prevention and reversal of beta cell dysfunction and loss in diabetes.
