Posting Summary Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Research Associate III for the International Center for Public Health Department within New Jersey Medical School.
The primary purpose of the Research Associate III position is to conduct research in the field of the role of mucosal immunity in viral infection in Dr. Theresa L. Chang’s laboratory.
Among the key duties of the position are the following: Will examine the effect of hormones and mucosal immunity in viral infection and disease progression in humans and animal models. Will carry out assignments in the laboratory and help manage the laboratory. Compiles and presents statistical data with appropriate conclusions and recommendations in a weekly group meeting. Assists in the preparation of manuscripts and grant applications for the funding of research activities. Performs other duties as assigned by Dr. Chang. Understands and adheres to Rutgers compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’ Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and Rutgers regulations, laws and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
