This position is a key member of the school's Lifecourse Epidemiology of Adiposity & Diabetes (LEAD) Center and will conduct study visits for the Baby and Me Tobacco Free Program (BMTFP), a pilot program to deliver a tobacco, nicotine, and cannabis cessation intervention to pregnant people. The intervention includes a psychosocial counseling model paired with financial incentives and biomonitoring feedback to help pregnant people to quit using tobacco, nicotine, and cannabis during pregnancy and for up to six months postpartum. The Research Care Coordinator will interact with enrolled participants to schedule visits, administer informed consent and questionnaires, collect and process biospecimens, and perform medical record abstraction. They will also be trained to perform BMTFP counseling sessions as a back-up for the program counselor.
