**Job Summary:**
**Research Care Coordinator**
Key Responsibilities:
+ Schedule and conduct research visits, which includes informed consent, questionnaire administration, and biospecimen pick-up
+ Process biospecimens
+ Complete data entry
+ Act as a back-up peer counselor when needed
+ Conduct outreach to participants and partner sites, including University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) and Denver Health and Hospital Authority (DHHA)
+ Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and Colorado laws regarding proper research conduct
+ Ensure compliance with UCH and DHHA policies and procedures
+ This is a part-time position (0.5 FTE) and reports directly to the Baby and Me Tobacco Free Program Manager.

**Minimum Requirements**
Entry Professional:
+ A bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
+ **Substitution** : A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
Intermediate Professional **:**
+ A bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
+ **Substitution** : A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
+ One (1) year of professional level experience in a research setting.
Senior Professional **:**
+ A bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, physical sciences, nursing, healthcare, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
+ **Substitution** : A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
+ Two (2) years of professional level experience in a research setting.
**Preferred Qualifications** **:**
+ Experience conducting in-person research visits or clinical experience, especially with pregnant or postpartum participants or patients.
+ Experience in public health research.
+ Background working with sensitive protected health information (PHI).
+ Experience with providing counseling services (including peer counseling).
+ Experience with using data entry databases and/or patient electronic medical records.
**Conditions of Employment:**
+ May require occasional weekend and evening shifts with advanced notice.
+ Personal transportation to pick up biospecimens from participants' homes or local hospitals.

Join the Colorado School of Public Health as a . This position is a key member of the school's Lifecourse Epidemiology of Adiposity & Diabetes (LEAD) Center and will conduct study visits for the Baby and Me Tobacco Free Program (BMTFP), a pilot program to deliver a tobacco, nicotine, and cannabis cessation intervention to pregnant people. The intervention includes a psychosocial counseling model paired with financial incentives and biomonitoring feedback to help pregnant people to quit using tobacco, nicotine, and cannabis during pregnancy and for up to six months postpartum. The Research Care Coordinator will interact with enrolled participants to schedule visits, administer informed consent and questionnaires, collect and process biospecimens, and perform medical record abstraction. They will also be trained to perform BMTFP counseling sessions as a back-up for the program counselor.
Onsite - This role is expected to work onsite and is located on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO. This position requires personal transportation to pick up biospecimens from participants' homes and/or local hospitals.
