Job Overview:

Responsible for the oversight and management of the CBMC research center infrastructure, including the curation and maintenance of research resources and relationships. Will develop and maintain partnerships with the Rutgers research team, and leverage appropriate resources to help support CBMC research initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related disciplineMinimum of three-four years of progressively responsible related experience coordinating clinical/research trials studiesProficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as World, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with internet applicationsEffective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skillsAbility to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customersAbility to work and make decisions independentlyTime management skills and ability to multi-taskStrong understanding and knowledge base of coordination requirements associated with clinical/research trials

Essential Functions:

Responsible for initiating, coordinating and managing research studies conducted at the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, including but not limited to research responsibilities with the Matthew J. Morahan III Health Assessment Center for Athletes Oversees the financial and protocol development for the assigned studiesAssists with managing the recruitment process (develops advertising strategy, contacts media outlets and negotiate rates and monitor deadlines for submission of materials), enrollment, grant submissions, and study coordinationPerforms intra-operative monitoring and serves as liaison with internal and external funding agenciesOversees and executes all research IRB projects associated with identified focus areas collaboratively with hospital division and versed in following hospital IRB protocol, policies, and proceduresEnsures the accurate execution of research protocols in accordance with Good Clinical Practices, HIPAA and required obligations to patient/subject, Principal Investigator, research team and the sponsorInterfaces directly with patients/subjects and the Principal Investigator in support of the clinical trials if applicableProvides guidance to Research support staffWorks autonomously and with limited oversight in coordination with the chief medical officer, Morahan Center, and associated hospital clinical leadership and administration on projects while following
