Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an opportunity for a Research Coordinator at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. The Hospitals are part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Establish uniform correspondence procedures and practices. Formulates procedure for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records. Reviews official directives and correspondence to assure timely accurate and appropriate responses. Prepares all necessary documents for submissions to the IRBs and NYC Health + Hospitals in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures. Acts as liaison with Director of Research, the research staff, the finance staff, Principal Investigators, clinical trial and grant sponsors. Facilitates effective, accurate, timely communication among all necessary individuals. Serves as Facility Research Coordinator for the Research Administration Office Central Office. Provides assistance to research personnel on following NYC H+H policies and procedures. Assist director with the creation and revision of departmental policies. Verifies patient reimbursements receipts against EMR. Communicates with monitors and auditors performing verifications and quality assurance reviews or audits. Keeps the Research staff informed of any and all changes of FDA, IRB, and NY State requirements for research.
