Job Description:

The University of Florida (UF) Department of Epidemiology seeks a diligent, detail-oriented individual to work as a Research Coordinator II, for the All of Us (AoU) Consortium of CTSA/PACER Community Network project. Position will be responsible for coordinating efforts with up to 7 universities and a leading health literacy organization, to increase researcher engagement with the All of Us national database. The Research Coordinator II will maintain a schedule of weekly, monthly, and quarterly project meetings with NIH funders, university PIs and coordinators and the health literacy organization. The position will track progress toward study goals for the PIs and NIH in this cooperative agreement. This position will gather and format information for monthly reporting to funding agency, and ensure project is on track to meet deliverables. They will also maintain substantial project documentation and keep the research team updated on changes to the complex systems associated with access to the AoU database. The Research Coordinator II will also track other systems as necessary to ensure appropriate records are maintained, and expectations are managed.

Work closely with Principal Investigators and project personnel to support the development of   curricular materials and implement methods to increase researcher engagement with the AoU Researcher Workbench. Identify opportunities for outreach to healthcare providers, training programs, and community groups to ensure diverse researcher participation. Manage expectations and goal tracking for the universities and health literacy organization to assure continued progress toward project goals. Help to identify and address challenges encountered across the Network to adhere to project timelines. Represent the University of Florida (the project lead) in communications with both internal and external partners. Position will also work closely with the Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MPI) from University of Minnesota to support the goal expectations.

Liaise with evaluation personnel to stay abreast of progress toward milestones. Project progress is measured across multiple goals with specific deadlines for each, and the Research Coordinator II will closely monitor progress and advise the team on obstacles and advances. Receive and review project data from site teams, and compile data and provide ad hoc and monthly reports to NIH. Ensure project deliverables are met and correctly reported to funding agency. Field any inquiries in response to monthly reports.

Maintain schedule of research team meetings and project committees. Prepare agendas for biweekly team meetings and conduct them via video-conference. Attend project committee meetings to stay apprised of all aspects of project activities and to disseminate information across the Network as needed.

Liaise with Health Literacy Media (HLM) for communications materials developed for outreach, training and engagement in project activities. The Program Director will interpret requests for specific materials from project partners and convey the specifications to HLM and NIH for asset development.

Responsible for maintaining project documentation and records. Stay up to date with AoU database registration and usage policies and practices and communicate same to project personnel at all sites. Coordinate with personnel at each site to determine appropriate level of database access then make requests to NIH. Serve as point of contact for the risk assessment protocol which includes regular reviews of each site’s personnel access to ensure that lists are updated and the necessary trainings are current.

Expected Salary:

$50,500 - $61,000 annually; commensurate with education, experience and skills.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Capability to work with Office Suite, manipulation of data needed, ability to multitask.

Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, along with strong writing skills.

Ability to work independently, coupled with the knowledge of when to seek advice.

Honest, trustworthy, able to think strategically as demonstrated in interview.

Able to manage day-to-day activities while maintaining project deadlines.
