Job Description
- Data Analytics: Analyze data from various agencies and their funding rates, including the number of grants in North Carolina.
- Software Proficiency: Use software like InfoEd SPIN, foundations database, federal registry, and sorting protocols.
- Data Management: Access and analyze data from online agency databases (e.g., NSF, grants.gov) for current and past funding.
- Project Management: Manage internal grant operations, including rules and regulations, committees, and subcommittees.
- Collaboration: Link with business offices and oversee internal grants and limited submissions.
- Grant Selection: Manage limited submissions, selecting 1-2 grants per call, and choosing representatives for programs.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- Understanding of how a University's research organization operates (Can come from CRO, clinical or hospital background)
- Experience working with data, data analysis, or data management - Masters degree from and accredited college or university.
- One or more years of experience working in research development.
- Ability to read, understand, and synthesize the proposal guidelines posted by federal and state agencies and write synopses of these guidelines for distribution to UNCG faculty.
Experience interfacing with research faculty within higher education. null
