Job Description - Data Analytics: Analyze data from various agencies and their funding rates, including the number of grants in North Carolina. - Software Proficiency: Use software like InfoEd SPIN, foundations database, federal registry, and sorting protocols. - Data Management: Access and analyze data from online agency databases (e.g., NSF, grants.gov) for current and past funding. - Project Management: Manage internal grant operations, including rules and regulations, committees, and subcommittees. - Collaboration: Link with business offices and oversee internal grants and limited submissions. - Grant Selection: Manage limited submissions, selecting 1-2 grants per call, and choosing representatives for programs. Skills and Requirements - Bachelors degree - Understanding of how a University's research organization operates (Can come from CRO, clinical or hospital background) - Experience working with data, data analysis, or data management - Masters degree from and accredited college or university. - One or more years of experience working in research development. - Ability to read, understand, and synthesize the proposal guidelines posted by federal and state agencies and write synopses of these guidelines for distribution to UNCG faculty.
