**Job Description** Our **Anoka, MN** location is seeking a **Research & Development Engineer Intern** to add to our team for Summer 2025. An Internship will offer the opportunity to learn the new product development process throughout the organization. **The opportunities you will have will include, but are not limited to:** + Assist Product Development Engineers through all phases of the development cycle, from initial sample builds and testing to analysis of results and final reporting. + Work with ballistics department to develop products within specification, handload samples and perform testing as needed. + Assist operations personnel in running defined Engineering Qualification quantities of product, identifying rework of tooling or processes as necessary. + Tool up, adjust and operate machines to produce experimental samples. + Gage parts to verify they are in tolerance. + Develop and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality specifications. + Process engineering change orders, to create and revise prints and BOMs. **You have/are:** + Candidates must be currently enrolled in an Engineering Bachelor’s degree program. + Self-starter with strong attention to detail. + Good problem solving and analytical ability. + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal oversight. + Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal. + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, for data recording and creation of status reports. + Ability to handle and use firearms for product testing purposes is preferred. + Experience with handloading, shooting and hunting preferred. **Additional Information** + Monday thru Friday schedule (8-9 hour days) + Target internship dates: May 2025 - August 2025 **Pay Range:** $0.00 - $0.00 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
