Research Facilitator

The HEALing Measures Center, supported by grant 1RM1DA059395-01, is dedicated to advancing the measurement, quality, and equity of care in community opioid treatment programs (OTPs) through the sustained implementation of measurement-based care (MBC). Our comprehensive approach involves collaborative efforts with community partners to improve tools, enhance measurement quality, and bridge critical research gaps in the real-world application of evidence-based measurement and systems. We will co-design the implementation blueprint with key community partners (e.g., policy makers, payers, OTP providers) that will serve as the foundation for a stepped-wedge, hybrid type II effectiveness-implementation trial. Successful candidates will have the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary program team from RTI, Northwestern, and Pitt to solve complex problems in the areas of substance use disorder/mental health disorder treatment and prevention.

Research facilitators will primarily be responsible for translating research evidence to practice, communicating critical local insights to the research leaders, collaborating with community partners, as well as leading training/communication materials.

A commitment to achieving healthcare diversity, equity, and inclusion is a must. Individuals with relevant lived/living experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

1. Collaboration and Engagement: Excellent communication skills to foster collaborative relationships with community partners, policymakers, payers, and OTP providers to facilitate successful implementation and disseminate research findings.
2. Project Management: Maintain the project's overarching goals and timelines through partner engagement, research activities, etc. Maintain administrative tasks such as overseeing various organizational, managerial, and logistical aspects, including tracking milestones and adhering to IRB protocols.
3. Implementation: Execute the implementation activities with fidelity to the implementation blueprint, including trainings, technical assistance, etc.
4. Data Collection and Analysis: Experience with conducting, collecting, and analyzing qualitative interviews, survey data, etc.
5. Dissemination and Reporting: Support dissemination of findings to local partners and through publications, presentations, and other channels, contributing to ongoing measurement quality initiatives and reporting within Pennsylvania.
