Candidates should be medical doctors who have completed OBGYN residency / postgraduate training at their local institution/country. Requirements of the fellowship include initiation and completion of hypothesis-driven research, submission of peer-reviewed publications, and presentation at national conferences. A final written and oral thesis presentation is required for the successful completion of the fellowship. Fellowship in-person attendance July 2025 - June 2026. Current specialties and research interests of the department include gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive gynecology surgery/endometriosis, and urogynecology. The department currently consists of 5 GYN surgeons, 2 medical gynecologists, and 4 minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS) fellows, who will serve as the collaborative research partners and colleagues for the research fellow.
