RESEARCH INTERNSHIP Department of Computer Science and Engineering New York University The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a short-term (6 month) paid Research Intern to work with Prof. Nasir Memon. Expectations: Candidates will be responsible for developing new methodologies for secure, robust and transparent biometric recognition algorithms and perform work in a multidisciplinary environment and a diverse research group advised by Prof. Nasir Memon. The successful candidate will be driven, creative and team-oriented with a passion for developing explainable authentication frameworks. Salary Range: In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this full time position is $48,000 - $62,499. Candidate should have a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Science, or a related field. They should have a strong background in AI/ML, biometric algorithm design and evaluation, and interests in Generative AI. Candidates will be required to present eligibility to work in the United States.
