The AI for Domains (AID) group in M365 Research has multiple Research Internship positions for the summer of 2025. We are seeking candidates to work with our researchers on various topics of domain adaptation for artificial intelligence (AI) systems.

Some of the topics of interest covering research areas in AID are:

Generative AI, including domain adaptation, modular AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and scalable and distributed machine learning.Synthetic data.Reinforcement learning techniques for model training, improved reasoning, and alignment.Privacy, security, and reliability in AI.Agents and agentic workflows.
