Research Internships at Microsoft provide a dynamic environment for research careers with a network of world-class research labs led by globally-recognized scientists and engineers, who pursue innovation in a range of scientific and technical disciplines to help solve complex challenges in diverse fields, including computing, healthcare, economics, and the environment.
We are seeking Research Interns to work at the intersection of biomedical signal processing and machine learning (ML).
Clinical instruments such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) scanners produce vast amounts of raw signal, which is transformed into images and other artifacts for clinical interpretation. Our team is exploring the role that artificial intelligence (AI) might play in this transformation of raw signal. For example, we work on techniques that allow us to solve inverse problems (such as medical image reconstruction) with less data.
