Overview POSITION SUMMARY: OSF HealthCare is committed to advancing knowledge in early detection and delivering innovative, cutting-edge diagnostic tests and treatments. By integrating the latest advancements in medical technology, we strive to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, making us a trusted one-stop destination for all healthcare needs in the community. We are currently conducting a study to validate diagnostic and prognostic accuracy of innovative diagnostic test in ED patients with suspected infections and/or suspected sepsis. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Intern to support our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in academic research and contribute to a meaningful project Qualifications REQUIRED QUALFICATIONS: Currently enrolled in or graduated from a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, , or other related quantitative discipline eg: Biology OR currently pursuing medical school education Other skills/knowledge: Strong interest in research and academic studies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Prior research experience (e.g., in coursework, personal projects, or previous internships) is a plus, but not required OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
