Job Summary
The laboratory of Dr. Peter Todd has a position available for a full-time Research Lab Specialist who will manage our induced pluripotent stem cell and iNeuron work focused on genetic causes of neurodegenerative disease.
Responsibilities*Duties will include generation and maintenance of iPSC cells and iNeurons from patient derived fibroblasts, CRISPR-based editing of disease and control iPSC lines to generate isogenic controls, and characterization of iNeurons via calcium imaging and molecular and cellular techniques, including neuronal imaging and morphology assays. The person will also assist with general lab maintenance and related activities.
