The Dr. Brian Luna’s Lab in the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC is looking for a full-time Research Lab Technician I to join our new, creative, and dynamic research team. The focus of Dr. Luna’s lab is to characterize new treatments against antibiotic-resistant bacterial pathogens.
Conducts research experiments in accordance with laboratory and safety protocols.Arrange and assemble laboratory reagents, glassware, and equipment for use.Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment.Maintains accurate laboratory records, stocks and maintains laboratory suppliesPractice basic laboratory safety and provides general laboratory assistance to support research activities.Performs assignments which are non-routine and vary in complexity with minimal direction.Complies data and computes results for a variety of research procedures, tests and techniques.Manages lab mouse coloniesThe hourly rate range for this position is $21.07 - $26.87.
