DescriptionKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will work with Dr. Kyle Miller (Dr. Kyle Miller - http://www.kmmillerlab.org/) to supervise and/or assist staff (Postdocs, graduate and undergraduate students) in a large and/or complex research laboratory. Responsible for administrative, financial, staffing and planning aspects of research, including safety, ordering and normal lab operations within the lab. Will assist in instrumentation, theoretical models, equipment and other vehicles for data gathering and analysis. Designs and applies scientific and numerical models in research. Oversees development and integrity of data collection and instruments. Conducts on-going, periodic and final analyses of data, using specialized techniques and programming. Will collaborate with other researchers on manuscripts, abstracts and other publications of research findings. Collaborates with other researchers on long-range plan and conduct for overall research. Performs related responsibilities as required.Performs related responsibilities as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in a scientific field; related master's degree preferred. Five years of professional research experience. Three years of supervisory experience.NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
