Research Support Specialist ANNOUNCEMENT OF NON- PROFESSIONAL VACANCY Applications are invited for consideration to the following position Department: Surgery Budget Title: Research Support Specialist Salary Range: (Based Upon Experience)$60,000.00 Descriptive Title:Research Program Coordinator Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week. Vacancy 25-2 Description of Duties: -Plan, perform program management tasks (calendar, departmental announcements etc.) -Participate in development and administration of surgical research studies. -Organize and maintain research compliance documentation. -Conduct literature reviews and summarize. -Prepare research reports. -Curate, organize data using statistical programs. -Develop, communicate research to internal and external audiences. -Orient and train staff, students, trainees. Qualifications: REQUIRED: Master-s degree in STEM or public health related fields, i.e., biology, mathematics, epidemiology, biostatistics. Must have excellent writing and communication skills. Candidate must be able to conduct literature reviews, and skilled in organizational outreach and community engagement. PREFERRED: Experiences in study design and biostatistical analysis.
