Salary Range: $103,400.00 - $122,500.00  

*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices 

Position Summary

Under guidance, provides administrative and logistical support for awarded projects and activities within either, or both, national and international sectors. This role is primarily responsible for program implementation and grants, operational and statistical management and may be required to travel to study sites.

Job Responsibilities Monitors existing projects to ensure milestone and goals are met, participates in strategic planning and assists with ensuring projects stay within budget and adhere to regulations and policies. Provides administrative support for research protocols and ensures protocols are submitted and renewed in a timely and efficient manner. Manages the program’s day-to-day statistical and data management operations including data collection/entry, literature searches and tracking of effort on project against project estimates/budgets. Prepares reports and presentations as needed. Provides the leadership for facilitating and expediting the research grant and contract application process. Provides guidance to staff on all aspects of the grant process. Provides recommendations to faculty on preferred sponsor application guidelines to allow the best opportunity for approval and awarding. As needed, travels to local and/or international study sites to evaluate program, write progress reports and make recommendations for subsequent year program proposals. May need to develop and plan domestic and international meetings between collaborators. May design and manage the content of the program’s webpage including regular updates and content reviews to ensure the information is current and relevant. May be responsible for processing academic appointments, reappointments, promotions, notice of non-renewals, and annual faculty reviews. May be responsible for the processing of visa paperwork for visiting/international academic staff. May be responsible for maintaining the program’s computing resources and planning for the growth such as software licensing and computer upgrades. Facilitates and executes grant writing, scientific publication, regulatory review, and industry collaboration. Prioritizes, prepares briefings and compiles reports on project progress and operations. Education Bachelor's Degree in related field Experience Approximately 5 years of relevant work experience within a research environmentKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Previous work experience with community outreach and engagement is a plus. Experience in grant administration is a plus. Licenses and Certifications Working Conditions/Physical Demands Standard office work; Position may require domestic and international travel; Position may require to ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends when requested for special projects
