Research Program Supervisor

The LOUD study aims to improve receipt of services across each step of the opioid treatment cascadevia data-driven tailoring and monitoring of services. The study’s objective is to develop and validate areplicable and scalable Small Area Multidimensional medication for opioid use disorder access (SAMMA)
suite of measures, composed of community contextual indices for each stage of access and a cumulativeaccess index (at census tract or zip code scales), along with an interactive dashboard to facilitatedissemination.

This research coordinator will assist with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements, serve as a liaison between outside partners and data management and statistical staff, including partners at Research Data Assistance Center (ResDAC). They will coordinate and manage study advisory board activities and meetings. They will manage weekly meetings of study personnel and bi-weekly meetings of investigators to track all study progress and implementation. They will track any resulting manuscripts and or abstracts produced from the proposed study projects. They will coordinate with the study advisory board to disseminate study findings.


Preferred qualifications: prior research experience, prior research coordinator/research assistantexperience, and familiarity with IRB.

Oversees day-to-day management and execution of multiple complex research projects and ensures compliance with all funding agencies and sponsors. Constructs data collection instruments and crafts promotional materials. Troubleshoots data and manages database. Assists with screening, recruitment, and enrollment of study participants. Performs budgetary and purchasing functions.

Requires the ability to visualize a computer screen, to work with computer hardware and software, to communicate verbally and in writing, and to use a phone. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of English.
