The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute (KCI) is a pioneer in personalized cancer treatment and research, led by Dr. Brian Druker, whose development of Gleevec transformed Chronic Myeloid Leukemia from a fatal disease to a manageable one and proved that targeted therapies can work. The Knight Cancer Trial Network (CTN) Program at OHSU provides support in quality assurance and quality control programs, regulatory support, membership registration, education, and training specific to trials opened under NCI's National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN) and Experimental Therapeutics Clinical Trials Network (ETCTN). This Research Project Manager (CTN Project Manager) is responsible for overseeing, managing, completing, and/or delegating all activities related to ETCTN operations, including regulatory, trial coordination, quality assurance, membership, data activities, and more.

This role involves establishing and updating formal processes that support all CTN clinical research. The CTN Project Manager functions as a liaison for NCI, NCTN, ETCTN, OHSU, KCI, investigators, and staff. The role will guide the initiation, planning, coordination, and execution of clinical trial projects and ensure adherence to regulatory policies, procedures, practices, and laws. The CTN Project Manager will be accountable for representing KCI and will promote CTN roles, responsibilities, and standards while embodying the guiding principles within all interactions.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experince:

Master's in relevant field AND 3 year of relevant experience OR Equivalent combination of Bachelor’s in relevant field in conjunction with training and experience OR Equivalent combination of training and experienceAt least 5 years of clinical research specific experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at one time Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills: both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) on Window OS. Ability to accurately type 60wpm Must have demonstrated excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in personMust possess energy and drive to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experince:

Master’s degree or Clinical Research CertificateExperience in oncology clinical research strongly preferred Experience with electronic data capture systems Experience presenting scientific information Additional Details
