Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Project Manager.
The Research Project Manager functions as a creative thinker, strategic leader, and administrative head of a growing team led by PI Lauren Taylor within the Department of Population Health. Drawing from strong organizational and research skills, this position is responsible for providing day-to-day management of a 5-yr CDC-funded grant aiming to increase the rates of routine vaccination. This position will be central to managing and growing PI Taylors team of full- and part-time staff and grant funded portfolio of nearly 10 projects. The candidate provides vision, leadership and technical guidance in oversight of the teams research.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day project management on a 5-yr grant from the Centers for Disease Control aimed at increasing the rates of 0-2yr routine vaccination in community health centers Coordinate with external partners (CUNY School of Public Health, CDC) on research and dissemination activities Contribute to writing and editing manuscripts for publication With the PI, provide leadership for staff of 6 direct and indirect reports, as well as comprehensive thinking, decision-making, and management across a range of extramurally funded projects With the PI, establish and maintain effective systems of coordination and communication across project teams and work streams, including regular check-ins and deliverable management Continuously monitor grant-funded projects, processes and outcomes, flagging problems and instituting changes when needed Keep abreast of current literature, contribute to discussions, help to frame and shape research questions be an active partner to the PI to develop long-term strategic thinking and planning With the PI, devise long-range plans that strengthen the mission and identity of the team Drive grant proposal preparation and execution of ongoing research projects. Promote a team culture to facilitate staff and faculty productivity and satisfactionMinimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Masters degree in public health, health care administration, or other related areas. At least 3-years of demonstrated progressive leadership/management responsibilities with evidence of success.

Superb organizational skills, strong oral and written communication, independent and creative problem solving capabilities, strategic planning experience, grant writing and management skills

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 – $86,397.15 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
