Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Project Manager for the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. Reporting to the Assistant Director, this position will primarily serve as a Principal Investigator to research and evaluation projects and may supervise junior positions such as Research Project Assistants, Research Project Coordinators, interns, and other temporary staff.

Among the key duties of the position are the following: Conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses for research projects using education, workforce, and human services data. Develops research designs, identifies and calculates appropriate performance measures. Identifies and implements the most appropriate methods for conducting quantitative or qualitative studies. Writes reports, conference papers, and publications based on the data analyses conducted. Interacts with stakeholders in Federal, New Jersey state government, and the research community. Spearheads and supports the strategic project development through proposal development and execution. Supports the strategic development of projects and grant efforts of a University Research Center by designing and implementing the unit’s research and evaluation project development activities.
