RESEARCH PROTOCOL ANALYST-REMOTE

The Basic and Translational Research Protections (BTRP) provides support to the Biospecimen and Data Research Oversight Committee (BDROC) at City of Hope. This committee oversees biobanking efforts and related research, ensuring compliance with regulations. Research Protocol Analysts manage human research protocols, ensuring they meet NCI Cancer Center Support Grant requirements. They facilitate protocol reviews, monitor studies, and assist with reporting obligations. Analysts also serve as knowledgeable resources for COH researchers and committee members, facilitating collaboration across departments involved in research oversight. Additionally, they support department leadership in evaluating programs and managing projects related to BDROC and biobanking activities within COH's network.

 

As a successful candidate, you will:

Manage protocols through BDROC review process for compliance.Conduct pre-reviews to ensure submission completeness and compliance.Assign appropriate reviewers and document committee decisions.Issue action notices summarizing review outcomes and conditions.Monitor and expedite investigator responses for timely approvals.Prepare materials for committee meetings and provide guidance on novel submissions.Support audits, maintain compliance documentation, and contribute to process improvements and regulatory updates.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.At least 2 years of experience in the academic/clinical research review setting.
