Posting Number: S06129P Department: Space Sciences Salary Range: $70K-75K Dependent on Qualifications Pay Basis: Monthly Position Status: Regular full-time Location: Richardson Job Description: The research associate will assist with activities of the Upper Atmosphere Remote Sensing Lab of UTD’s Center for Space Sciences. The new hire is expected to carry out activities related to development of geospace remote sensing instrumentation, mentoring of students, and dissemination of research results in the form of publications and presentations. Minimum Qualifications: - Master’s degree in field directly related to research – Two (2) years of experience/expertise performing research relating to a specified field of study – Or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience totaling at least eight years. Preferred Education and Experience: PHD in Electrical engineering (or related) and space science instrumentation experience.
