Oracle Labs is searching for an outstanding Machine Learning and AI researcher with a focus on Bayesian Modelling and Probabilistic Programming to join our probabilistic modelling research team. The team develops Sandwood, a probabilistic programming language running on the Java platform, designed to allow easy integration with large enterprise applications written in Java. Our goal is to bring the power of Bayesian modelling to Oracle's products, building on over a decade of work in probabilistic modelling in our lab. 

We are passionate about research that both advances science and has impact in the real world. The successful candidate will be part of an amazing collaborative research team that publishes at the top venues. Our expertise includes probabilistic programming, inference performance optimization, tools for training deep learning models, language and code generation models, privacy preserving machine learning, and AI agents, just to name a few.
