The Autoimmunity Screening for Kids (ASK) Program is a jointly funded research project from Breakthrough T1D (formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)) and the Helmsley Charitable Trust (HCT) to continue a large-scale screening in children and adults who live in the United States. The study aims to identify those at risk for two childhood autoimmune diseases--type 1 diabetes (T1D) and celiac disease (CD).
