The Opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished Research & Strategy Leader to analyze market trends, have a progressive understanding of the competitive landscape, and identify key industry disruptors which will drive the future direction of our Workplace Management (WPM) division. This critical leader will foster innovation and ensure WPM adapts to changing market conditions to surpass the evolving expectations of our clients.
This exciting opportunity is a strategically critical, client-focused role with a global scope and strong commercial emphasis. The ideal candidate will be a high-performing professional with a successful history of developing and implementing strategic initiatives. The successful applicant will possess the ability to generate valuable insights that support and drive growth in one of JLL's key business segments.
Location: Chicago, London, or any major City in the Eastern U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze market data and JLL proprietary intelligence to assess the company's position in Workplace Management, identifying opportunities, challenges, and strategies to enhance service delivery.
Utilize data and intelligence to identify growth opportunities and differentiation strategies.
Produce actionable, predictive insights from proprietary data to enhance market position and client engagement.
Identify research priorities to anticipate industry developments and evolving client needs.
Leverage public speaking engagements to strengthen brand presence at industry events.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and prioritize capabilities addressing industry-specific challenges.
Coordinate with cross-regional teams to create an integrated strategy for the WPM business line.
Requirements
Extensive Research experience related to the commercial real estate industry.
Bachelor’s degree in real estate or related field with a research focus. Master’s degree preferred.
A deep and demonstrable understanding of the Workplace Management industry or transferable experience from an alternate sector, with the ability to act as a subject matter expert.
Strategic, bold thinker with a record of delivering measurable results.
A bias towards continuous innovation and a strong awareness of technology and its impact on people, space, place, and capital
Advanced interpersonal, writing, presentation, and communication skills
A self-starter with a proven track record in effectively setting and executing strategy.
Effective communicator with ability to manage senior stakeholders.
Strong team player with ability to inspire colleagues across a global network.
Bachelor’s degree in real estate or related field with a research focus. Master’s degree preferred.
Estimated total compensation for this position:
150,000.00 – 250,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
