RESEARCH STUDY ADMINISTRATOR, School of Medicine, Slone Epidemiology Center

We seek a Research Study Administrator to join the Pediatric Research Group, a team focused on social disparities in Maternal and Child Health within the Slone Epidemiology Center at Boston University. We have a multi-disciplinary team with an array of large, national-level studies focused predominately on infant safe sleep and breastfeeding among medically and socially high-risk populations. We collaborate heavily with investigators elsewhere in the US and we are dedicated to a team science approach to accomplishing our research goals. We employ qualitative and quantitative research methods and conduct epidemiologic and interventional studies. We seek enthusiastic applicants that are dedicated to working with passionate teams that are focused on reducing social disparities in maternal child health outcomes. Main duties of this role include development and management of REDCap data collection tools and oversight of quality control activities of data collection with said tools; coordination of activities at participating research sites; management of IRB activities at all research sites; management of participant payment process; and conducting research interviews and follow-up with research participants.
Required Skills
+ Bachelor's degree required and MPH or equivalent degree preferred.
+ Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skill required.
+ Strong time management and attention to detail skills required.
+ 1-3 years of clinical, observational, or public health research required Experience with IRBs required.
+ Experience with REDCap program development required.
+ Spanish-speaking preferred, but not required.
