Job Summary The Research Technical Administrator II provides technical guidance and support for specialized solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices. This includes overseeing system configuration and administration, managing installation, maintenance, and integration of software and hardware systems such as SharePoint, Help Desk systems, and Audio-Visual equipment. The position serves as the primary point of contact for new technical projects, facilitating meetings, presentations, and updates on project progress. Additional responsibilities include maintaining inventory, collaborating with internal and external departments, and recommending new hardware or software for unique scenarios. The role also emphasizes professional development, fostering a positive attitude, and maintaining technical expertise while addressing complex customer service issues, evaluating trends, and solving escalated problems. Strong technical knowledge, system administration, organizational, and communication skills are essential to ensure success in this dynamic and impactful position.

IEBC (Internal Employee Being Considered). Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Knowledge of Microsoft OS, Apple and Office software applications; ITIL v.3 or 2011 Foundation highly preferred within 1 year of hire date; CompTia A+ highly preferred within 1 year of hire date Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Three (4) years of experience in either a call center, customer service, Information Technology, or a related field highly preferred.
