Research Technician

The Research Specialist utilizes a solid foundation in basic laboratory techniques and experience with techniques associated with the following specific areas: molecular biology; flow cytometry; animal handling, breeding, and husbandry; Immunobiochemistry; histopathology techniques and cell culture. The Research Specialist will be capable of exercising independent judgment while participating in the planning of experiments and evaluating and interpreting results. An independent project focused on the molecular analysis of normal and abnormal hematopoiesis will be the primary focus. In addition, the individual will work on other projects focused on the development of preclinical murine models, genetics and genomics.

A bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, chemistry, and the related field is required.
