PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required prior to the start of employment. • Performs a variety of laboratory experiments such as histology, flow cytometry, molecular techniques, gene sequencing, and related technical functions, testing, troubleshooting, and analysis, including microsurgical procedures, and ensuring conformity to specifications.
• Identifies and prepares specimens.
• Oversees supply management: ordering, procurement, tracking estimates, and receiving items.
• Operates and maintains applicable laboratory equipment for job functions.
• Keeps detailed, accurate, and timely data and log books. Organizes and documents results.
• Maintains, calibrates, cleans, and tests sterility of laboratory equipment.
• Research Technician to perform multi-modal mammalian specimen imaging with MRI, CT, SPECT, PET, ultrasound, or IVIS, as well as imaging analysis and tissue processing.
• Performs a variety of laboratory experiments such as in vivo or ex vivo mammalian specimen imaging with MRI, CT, SPECT, PET, ultrasound, IVIS, and related technical functions, testing, troubleshooting, and analysis, including microsurgical procedures, and ensuring conformity to specifications.
• Identifies and prepares specimens and live mammalian specimen.
• Perform multi-modal imaging analysis.
• Perform mammalian specimen related procedures, such as anesthesia, injection, tissue harvesting, etc.
• Must be able to enter magnetic field without magnetic field hazards, such as heart pacemakers, metal implants, or tattoos.
• Must be able to work with live mammalian specimen.
• Must have fine motor skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
