The Wang lab in the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Pathobiology at Virginia Tech is seeking a full-time research assistant to work on the pathogenesis of staphylococcal infections, extracellular membrane vesicles (MVs), and vaccine development. The successful applicant will be expected to use multiple approaches involved microbiology, molecular and cell biology, and animal models to investigate the biological roles of MVs in S. aureus pathogenesis and to assess the efficiency of vaccine candidate against S. aureus infections.
