The Kim Lab in the Department of Biology at the College of Arts and Sciences, Syracuse University, is seeking a proactive and experienced full-time Research Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the principal investigator and other researchers to contribute to various research and operational initiatives within the lab. Our work focuses on advancing cutting-edge research into stem cell fate programming and its critical role in plant growth and development in response to environmental challenges. Using plant stomata as a model system, the Kim Lab is dedicated to uncovering the genetic and epigenetic pathways that drive cell fate decisions, with a particular emphasis on the pivotal role of chromatin dynamics in stem cell fate specification, differentiation, and maintenance.
This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200United.
