About the Department
Job Summary
Responsibilities
Coordinate surgical procedures with other members of the lab, collect and record hemodynamic and physiological data, maintain analgesic and animal records, and to update animal protocols for the institutional IACUC committee as needed.
Provides technical and administrative support for a research project.
Assists with the installation, sets up and performs experiments; interacting with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator.
Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Minimum requirements include vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field (not typically required to have a four-year degree).

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience:
Experience in a research laboratory.
Animal surgery experience.
