We are seeking an excellent bench scientist at the level of Research Technician II to assist with our research projects investigating anti-allogenic humoral responses in transplant patients.

The ideal candidate will have extensive laboratory experience in molecular and cellular biology and should be highly organized and detail-oriented.

The major techniques involved include primary B cell culture, tumor cell line culture, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques such as RNA extraction, RT-PCR, and NGS library preparation.

We have detailed protocols established for most assays, and side-by-side training will be provided.

The experimenter must understand the underlying biology while closely following protocols. Adherence to high standards of scientific rigor is essential.

Anticipated Pay Range:

 

 

Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $18.69 to USD $28.28. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
